Since the full-scale invasion by Russia to Ukraine began, critical infrastructure suppliers such as energy companies, governmental agencies, operational technology firms, and many telco providers, media, and banks have been subjected to various types of cybersecurity attacks. There is a higher need for defensive cybersecurity.

Even though the military conflict is located within the border of Ukraine, cyberwarfare operations have no borders, making anyone a potential target for cyberattacks. A prime example of this is when hackers briefly took down Finnish government websites in April while the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke in front of the Finnish Parliament.
