SalaX offers end-to-end encrypted video calls, voice calls, file sharing and instant messaging. You can create internal rooms for company discussions, as well as external rooms where you can invite your customers and stakeholders to a meeting.

The installation can be done either to your IT partner's or your company's own server room, or in a Finnish SaaS environment provided by SSH. You always know where your data is located.

✅Matrix Open Standard Network
SalaX Secure Messaging is a Matrix-based solution. Matrix solutions are used by the French government, the German armed forces and many other security-critical organisationsat on the EU level.

✅Access Management and Data sovereignty
You have the control over your own data, and who has access to it.

✅Strong End-to-End Encryption
Messages are encrypted. You can choose whether the room you create needs to be end-to-end encrypted - casual office channels can be kept unencrypted, while key production conversations are strongly encrypted with OLM-MEGOLM -algorithm.

✅Internal and External channels
SalaX Secure Messaging divides group calls into internal- and external rooms, so your customers cannot accidentally access internal meetings, not even with an invitation link.

✅Compatibility
SalaX -client is available for Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS devices. Additionally it can be used via a browser interface.

Free trial restrictions

🔷User limit
25 users during the free usage period. If you decide to continue after the free trial, the user amount can be changed to cover all your employees.

🔷Time period
The free trial ends on 31.12.2025 and continues as a 12 month subscription with the minimum invoicing of 500€ + VAT / month, regardless of the user amount unless terminating the trial contract before 30.11.2025.

🔷One (1) Home Server Per Company
The free trial campaign includes one SaaS (hosted by SSH) home server per company. If you need a second home server, we can provide one with a discounted price. If you need on-premise installation, extra fees may apply.

🔷Campaign limitations
This campaign is limited to a limited number of companies located within the European Union. SSH reserves the right to deny any application and/or change the rules and limitations of the campaign or stop accepting registrations at any time.

🔷Installations / Deliveries
Installations and deliveries are done on First Come First Served -basis. Normal delivery time is 2-6 weeks.

🔷Private Network (Air gapped) installations
Handled as a special project, some fees may apply.

🔷Server restrictions
⛔ Can't be migrated to another server (From SaaS to On-Premise or vice versa).
⛔ Can't change the domain name.

🔷No Federation
Federation enables multiple servers to communicate together with end-to-end encryption. Federation is not included in the free campaign.

🔷No Audit-bot
Only room -state events are available in the admin panel.
Audit-bot for the admin to export the conversations is not included in the free trial. no one outside the room participants can access the message history.

🔷Support
- Best effort, no promised SLA
- Additional CS work outside of the scope of this trial is billable, the regular rate (165€/hour) applies.

🔷Configuration details
- Jitsi: This is our video/voice module for group calls, we will install a special Jitsi for each customer that only that customer can use.
- Key Recovery Mode: When your organization enables end-to-end encryption, you have to remember your access code to decrypt your messages, if you forget it, you lose all your messages. With our key recovery solution there are three modes (None/Hybrid/Auto) to create ease of use while utilizing end-to-end encryption. The mode can be chosen during the installation and can not be changed during the free trial.
- User Management: You are free to choose your user management method. It can be username and password, LDAP, EntraID or auth0. It it also up to you to decide if you would like to enable registration by end users or not.
- File/media attachment size: File/media attachment size is limited to maximum file size of 200MB for the free trial customers hosted by SSH. On-premise customers have the right to increase the limit. Total disk space for each trial customer is 160GB
